Need to order stock of your book for a launch event? This is a common request, and Author Freely offers a bulk-purchase discount for our authors! This mean, the more copies you order, the lower the unit cost is, meaning you can make more money for each book you sell. When you buy a larger number of copies for each book, Author Freely’s system will automatically take this into account. Our system also discounts your royalty from the bulk cost so you’re not paying yourself you own royalties.

How do I know what my discount is for different quantities?

It’s easy! Just select the book, add it to your cart and change the desired quantity and the system will automatically calculate the discount. The discount is always applied to the base cost and does not deduct from the royalties our authors receive. If the book is your own, royalties are automatically deleted from the price displayed in the shopping cart so you don’t pay yourself royalties.

Frequently asked questions about bulk purchasing books on Author Freely

• Will I earn less in royalties for bulk purchases?

  The royalties do not change for bulk purchases since the quality of discount is applied directly to the cost. The exception, though, is for when you’re buying your own work. We will automatically deduct the royalty amount so you don’t have to pay yourself your own royalties.

• Does anyone have the automatic discount, or just the author?

  The quantity discount is available for everyone! Being an author, it’s accumulated with the deduction of royalties, making the unit price even lower.

• Can I change the price of my book?

  Yes, you can change the price of your book at any time. However, this will not have any effect on the orders made prior to the change.
