2009
Author Freely is a member of the Clube de Autores global publishing network founded by Indio Brasileiro Guerra Neto, Ricardo Almeida and Anderson de Andrade.
2012
Launch of www.profissionaisdolivro.com.br, the first marketplace for selling editorial services in Latin America.
2013
First self-publishing platform to receive a contribution. The investment was made by the SC Fund, managed by the company FirCapital BZPlan, is focused on investing in innovative companies.
2014
Author Freely's platform won the World's Most Innovative Enterprise Award at the London Book Fair.
2015
Authors Club books are officially selected for the Library of Congress collection.
2016-2017
Agreement with SESI and several Brazilian universities for publishing and distributing books in the academic world.
2018
Pioneering distribution agreement for self-published books made with Estante Virtual, ensuring more visibility for all authors.
2019

How does Author Freely work?

Author Freely is a Print-on-Demand self-publishing platform that is completely free for our authors. To publish a book, just register as an author, upload your work according to our specifications, define how much you want to earn in royalties for each book sold, and you’re ready to publish!

How do I join Author Freely?

To be part of our community or authors, fill out the form with your details and complete the registration. After that, you will receive a verification email and can publish your book for free on our platform.

How much dos it cost to publish a book on Author Freely?

Publication is free! As Author Freley is Print-on-Demand, there is no need for the author to pay upfront for print, instead they receive a royalty each time their book is sold. This means that a book can be published and sold on our platform at zero cost to the author! If you’re wanting wider distribution outside of Author Freely’s platform, an ISBN will need to be purchased as the majority of retailers require ISBNs for cataloguing. ISBNs, however, are inexpensive and well worth it for global distribution!
