When a company is in a serious financial crisis, if management are unable to abandon unsuccessful habits and face the need for profound change, they will continue to destroy value.
A successful turnaround requires urgent analysis and decisions in three areas: financial practice and structure; operations (where and how value is created); and in most cases, ownership.
This is the first book in the field of corporate management to consolidate the information, techniques and methods involved in all these three areas of a company restructuring.
Further, it is deep, comprehensive and easy to understand: Each chapter is, effectively, an education on one major aspect of management of a business – in more depth, with more scope, and probably more clearly expressed than you can find elsewhere.
The result is perhaps the most all-encompassing book yet provided on the subject – and undoubtedly one of the easiest to read: a complete, empowering manual, providing all the secrets of a successful corporate restructuring, for anyone involved in a turnaround at any level.
While advising executives and entrepreneurs to work with an experienced professional turnaround specialist, this book enables them to master and understand the processes that will save a company.
Pedro Guizzo has participated in more than 20 corporate turnarounds and more than 200 M&A processes, conducting debt restructurings, M&A transactions and taking leading managing roles in Brazil and worldwide.
