Helena Vasconcelos and Miguel Ferrão, two esoteric researchers and guardians of ancient secrets, are back in Portugal after the defeat of the **Order of the Black Veil**. This manuscript is said to contain information about a **power device**, buried at the time of the Battle of Aljubarrota, capable of shaping the future of humanity.
Helena and Miguel are drawn into a web of conspiracies involving Portuguese history, ancient codices and occult symbols carved into the monastery itself. With enemies lurking around every corner, including a shadowy new adversary who seems to know their steps before they take them, the two are forced to unravel a puzzle of Latin riddles, Templar secrets and historical clues that link the past to the present.
