As I wrote this material, I imagined sitting across from you at your kitchen table. Maybe we are having coffee together. You are not sitting at a desk in a classroom. No lectures here. You and I are just two people who could become friends visiting about what anger means and how difficult it can be to control it sometimes.
I use the word “conversation” to describe the informal and nontechnical style of the course. Over the years that the course has existed, many participants have commented about the comfort they felt in the way the material is presented. My purpose here is to bring light to an issue clouded by misunderstanding, not to be judgmental. Quite the opposite, the course is based on my belief that you have great strength, possibly overlooked, to deal with the challenge of speaking freely.
