The Battle of Poitiers took place on September 19, 1356 in the commune of Nouaillé-Maupertuis, south of the city of Poitiers, France. Preceded by the Battle of Crécy in 1346, and followed by the Battle of Agincourt in 1415, it was the second of three great English victories in the Hundred Years War. Although the best troops on foot (the entire French army infantry force in Poitiers) were selected, including the commander, the constable himself, he did not employ them in a better combination - of space and time - with the cavalry force. In the simulation of the battle of Poitiers we will take into account that the center of gravity of both maneuvers (defensive and offensive) was the support on obstacles - natural and / or artificial -, which in the case of the English compensated their numerical inferiority; and the possibility of maneuvers looking for gaps in the defensive device should the French remain on horseback.
