Forbidden Loves of Viseu

In 19th century Viseu, marked by rigid values and decadent aristocratic families, a forbidden love arises between a young aristocrat, Beatriz de Albuquerque, and a young man of humble origins but with vast literary and scientific knowledge, António Pereira.
